Overview

A 15-day guided trekking journey through some of Morocco’s most striking and less-traveled landscapes, combining Marrakech, the High Atlas, the Rose Valley, the Dadès region, the Draa Valley, Sahara desert trekking and the Atlantic coast of Essaouira.

This itinerary is designed for active travelers who want more than a classic sightseeing tour. The journey begins in Marrakech before crossing the High Atlas toward Boutghrar and the Rose Valley. From there, the first trekking section leads through gorges, remote villages, oasis landscapes and mountain paths before reaching the Dadès region.

The second trekking section takes place in the Sahara, with several days walking through desert landscapes around Erg Bounou, Sidi Naji and Ras Nkhal. After the desert, the route continues through the Draa Valley, Ouarzazate and Aït Ben Haddou before ending with a relaxing coastal stay in Essaouira and a final night in Marrakech.

The program can be customized with different accommodation levels, private guides, mule or camel-supported trekking, desert camps, local meals, cultural visits and additional comfort options. It is ideal for travelers seeking guided hiking, desert walking, Berber villages, kasbah landscapes and authentic local encounters.
