Arrive in Marrakech, where your private driver welcomes you at the airport and transfers you to your riad. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a first gentle walk through the medina, relax on the rooftop or simply settle into the warm atmosphere of the ochre city.

This first evening offers a soft introduction to Morocco, with the option of a traditional dinner in your riad or at a selected local restaurant. The journey begins in Marrakech before heading toward the High Atlas and the kasbah landscapes of the south.

Spend the day exploring Marrakech with a local guide. Visit the city’s main cultural highlights, such as the Bahia Palace, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, the Koutoubia area and the souks of the medina. Your guide introduces you to Marrakech’s history, architecture, craftsmanship and local traditions.

In the afternoon, the program can be adapted to your interests. You may visit the Majorelle Garden, explore artisan workshops, enjoy a hammam or take time to wander through the medina. In the evening, experience the atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna square or enjoy dinner on a rooftop overlooking the old city.

Leave Marrakech after breakfast and travel across the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka road. The drive is one of the most impressive parts of the journey, with mountain passes, Berber villages and wide panoramic views.

Stop in Telouet to visit the former Glaoui kasbah, once linked to the powerful trade routes between Marrakech and the south. Continue along a beautiful road toward Aït Ben Haddou, passing through valleys and traditional villages. On arrival, discover the UNESCO-listed ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, famous for its earthen architecture and dramatic hilltop setting.

After breakfast, continue toward Ouarzazate, often described as the gateway to southern Morocco. Depending on your interests, visit Taourirt Kasbah or the cinema studios before continuing to Skoura, one of Morocco’s most beautiful palm groves.

Skoura is known for its oasis atmosphere, mudbrick kasbahs, gardens and quiet rural landscapes. In the afternoon, explore the palm grove with a local guide or visit Kasbah Amridil, one of the best-known kasbahs in the region. The evening is spent in a kasbah-style guesthouse or boutique lodge surrounded by southern Moroccan scenery.

Leave Skoura and continue toward the Dadès Valley, passing through the wider Valley of Roses region and small southern villages. Depending on the season, this area is known for its rose cultivation, soft valley landscapes and traditional local products.

Arrive in the Dadès Valley, where red cliffs, kasbah remains, cultivated fields and dramatic rock formations create one of the most scenic landscapes of the south. Enjoy viewpoints, a short walk or time to explore the valley before settling into your guesthouse for the evening.

After breakfast, continue toward Todra Gorge, one of southern Morocco’s most striking natural sites. Take time to walk between the high canyon walls and enjoy the contrast between rock formations, palm groves and village life.

In the afternoon, continue toward Merzouga and the dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the landscape opens into the Sahara, arrive at the edge of the dunes for your desert experience. Depending on timing, transfer to the camp by camel or 4x4, then enjoy sunset over the dunes followed by dinner and a night under the desert sky.

Wake up early to enjoy sunrise over the dunes, one of the most memorable moments of the journey. After breakfast, spend the day exploring the Merzouga region at a relaxed pace.

Optional experiences can include a 4x4 excursion around the dunes, a visit to Khamlia village to discover Gnaoua music traditions, tea with nomadic families, sandboarding, a gentle walk near the dunes or time to simply enjoy the silence of the Sahara. This second night in the desert allows travelers to experience Merzouga beyond a quick overnight stop.

After breakfast, leave the Sahara and travel west through desert-edge landscapes and traditional villages. The route may pass through Rissani, Alnif and other small settlements before reaching Nkob, known for its kasbah architecture and peaceful setting between mountains and desert.

Nkob offers a quieter and more local atmosphere than the main desert route. Settle into your kasbah-style guesthouse and enjoy the rest of the day at a slower pace. Depending on arrival time, take a short walk through the village or simply relax after the desert experience.

Leave Nkob after breakfast and continue toward Ouarzazate, passing through open southern landscapes, palm groves and traditional villages. Depending on the chosen routing, the day may include scenic stops in the Draa Valley or around Agdz before crossing back toward the High Atlas.

Continue across the mountain road to Marrakech, with panoramic views and small villages along the way. Arrive in the late afternoon or evening and settle back into your riad. This final night in Marrakech allows time for a hammam, a rooftop dinner or a last walk through the medina.

Enjoy your final morning in Marrakech depending on your flight schedule. You may have time for a short walk through the medina, a visit to a garden, a coffee on a rooftop or some final shopping in the souks.
